Day after AJ's surgery

Yesterday morning AJ finally had his eye surgery.  It's something we knew needed to be done after his first appointment with the pediatrician.  We just decided to wait because his hernia surgery certainly was a priority over this.  Anyway, it was a success.  AJ did great and we are hoping that both tear ducts remain open and clear so we don't have to do this again in the future.  As you can see from the pic.'s AJ wasn't really phased by all the medical stuff.  He was more interested in clowning around and charming all the nurses.  Time for his nap....and mine.  Blessings!

My little tornado...

As I was busy, busy, busy doing a million loads of laundry I heard quite a bit of noise coming from my bedroom.  Hmm...what is AJ into now.  I walked into the room to asess the damage (mess) and this is what I found.  See pic.'s.  AJ tearing through a huge box of Rice Krispie Treats.  Of course after he thrashed, once again, the folded laundry on the chest.  Yeah, I know, your asking yourself....well how did the treats end up in the bedroom on the floor next to the bed?  I have one answer for ya...ask his father. 

It was auctually pretty funny and typical of what our days have been like lately.  We are gearing up for AJ's eye surgery on Thursday so keep us in your prayers.  Both of his tear ducts are blocked so we need to get that fixed.  We were assured by the doctor and many friends that it's a "simple" surgery and we are happy about that.  I will keep you all posted.  Lots of love, Steph

Hello!

Well, it's been quite a day and it's only three o'clock.  We started out at the polls voting in the primaries and then decided we should take advantage of the 72 degree springlike weather and go to the park.  So we packed a lunch and were out the door.  AJ loves the park.  He loves everything about it and frankly so do I.  It's a great place for him to play with other children his age and also let's him get some energy out.  And boy does he have a lot of it!!!

Since I didn't take many pic.'s in Florida I thought I would post some from today.  We are finishing up watching ELMO and it's gonna be time for a nap. Bye-bye!!!
